Visiting once a week to once a day will do your mental and physical wellbeing a world of good. We offer many options that you can combined to help your time here be more effective. Even if you only visit 15-30 minutes once a week you should start seeing and feeling positive benefits in your life.

Can I clean the equipment before I use it

A) If you would like to clean any piece of equipment before you use it, there are bottles of cleaning solution and towels located throughout Piedmont Wellness Club for you to use. Please spray the solution on the towel and then wipe the equipment down.

Please be respectful of the next member who will be using the equipment after you by straightening up the equipment after you are finished. This includes throwing any towels used to wipe the equipment down away, straightening the sheet, pulling back the drape, or sitting the chair fully upright.

How will I know how to use the equipment?

A) When you become a new member, we will teach you exactly how to use the equipment. During your first visit after you have become a member, we will help you identify the different pieces of equipment that will help you achieve your personal wellness goals.

You can watch video tutorials from our website and there are also instructions next to or close to each piece of equipment in your suite. Please familiarize yourself with those instructions, and if you still have any questions, please feel free to ask a staff member.

When do I need to make an appointment?

A) To ensure that we give everyone the best possible experience here at Piedmont Wellness Club we require you to schedule an appointment for the following people or reasons:

You must make an appointment if you would like to bring in a non-member guest with you.

You must make an appointment if you would like to use or activate any sort of gift certificate.

It is recommended that you schedule an appointment for your first return visit as a member so we can make sure you are comfortable and knowledgeable about the proper use of the equipment.

Appointments are prioritized above walk in visits throughout the day because many members are coming during their lunch or scheduled work break and have limited time.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

A) Yes we do, but the entire objective is to RELAX, unwind and escape your hectic day to day pace and the stress of someone emailing or texting you every 5 seconds. For those who just can’t do without we do have Wi-Fi, ask a staff member for the password or if you have Spectrum internet service we have a hot spot that you can connect with your password.

What would be an average visit time?

A) Depending upon your membership you will have the benefits of using 3 to 5 different modalities of therapy during your stay. The sessions last 15 to 30 minutes each. The Ultra Modalities include Sedona PEMF, Hydrotherapy Massage Bed, Vibe Bioharmonic Resonance Bed, Normatec compression therapy and Chi-Bio Photonic and Hydrogen Inhalation. Our members can use 2 of the Ultra therapies a day and 2 to 3 of the basic which include Denas Microcurrent, Hypervolt Massager, Hyperice Heat and Vibration, Hand and Foot Reflexology, Braintap Light and Sound and Viper Vibration.

What is the minimum age to join or attend?

A) 18 years old, with a few exceptions. We do have several children with memberships that are in competitive sport or have special needs and are accompanied by a parent or caregiver. If you would like to learn more about the possibility of your child having membership, please talk to one of our staff members.

How long can I stay on the equipment?

A) Almost all the equipment sessions are 15 to 30 minutes long. This allows all members to experience and enjoy the benefits of the variety of therapies. Also many members are on tight schedules and will schedule an appointment ahead of time, so we work on 30 minute time slots for all Ultra therapy equipment. Each piece of our equipment has some healing and detoxification benefits. If you do too much too quickly, you can make yourself sick or put yourself into what is called a health crisis. To prevent that, we suggest a gradual increase in time on each piece of equipment. Think of using the equipment here like gym equipment. You may feel great during your first workout of the year, so you decide to do a little more and push yourself a little harder than your trainer recommended. While you feel fantastic the rest of the day….you are going to pay for the overexertion tomorrow.

What if I don’t like a certain machine?

A) That’s OK, the equipment won’t get upset! We offer several other modalities to choose from, so try the others. After all everyone has their favorites. Remember that all the equipment at Piedmont Wellness Club are complimentary to each other. They work synergistically together to help enhance your optimum wellness.

Can I use my cellphone during my visit?

A) If you need to talk on your cell phone, please do so extremely quietly and only in the front lobby area or outside the entrance to our business. Cellphone use is not permitted inside our Sedona Room, Wave Room or Vibe Room. Please silence your phone when you enter these rooms out of respect to others so everyone can enjoy a peaceful, relaxing session.

What is your cancellation policy?

A) Members may cancel their membership at any time. Requests must be made in writing (either fill out a cancellation form in person or send an email listed on our website expressing your desire to cancel) and with a 30 day’s notice. Cancellations made within the first year are subject to a cancellation fee of $300 or the remaining agreement balance whichever is less. After the initial agreement is complete cancellations can be made at any time, in writing, and with a 30-day notice. There is absolutely no retroactive refund of dues or retroactive time credits due to non-use of our Piedmont Wellness Club facilities.

Does Insurance Pay?

A) Even though preventative health care is starting to gain traction now and will be the wave of the future, we do not have a way of billing standard insurance plans like Blue Cross or United Health Care. Those who have HSA. accounts may be able to use your funds to pay for your membership because it is part of your preventative health and wellness plan like going to the gym.
